I feel like I haven't 'talk' to you for SO LONG! Anyways, some update from this writer. I am having my convocation next Tuesday (YEAY!) and I accidentally came across with TiffanyD's new make up video, Midnight Blue.

I have not have the chance to do make up since months ago. The only thing I put on my face is baby powder and if I feel extra 'rajin' that day I'll put on some eye-liner and that's it. So for my convocation I do want to look extra special (duh.. it's convo-day. happy day for me of course I want to look pretty :p), I decided to give an attempt to this look :D

Class Oh Class

Now that my classes are in full swing I have begin to feel the study mood momentum going up! :)

I am excited to experience new subjects. Whoops! Hold on. Let me tell you a little about the subjects that I am taking for this 5-months semester.

I have 9 subjects (WTF! CRAZY!) with accumulations of credit hours up to 29. As soon as I realized the amount of credit hours that I have I just prayed to Allah that I can make this through with strong physical and mental.

I really don't know how I will score but all I know is that I'm going to do the best I can for all subjects. I mean if I can excel diploma, degree is just another hurdle, right? O.o

Anyways, these horrifyingly sounded subjects are :-

1) Mandarin Language 1
2) Business and Professional Communication
3) Ethnic Relations
4) Communication Research and Methods
5) Management
6) Newswriting and Reporting
7) Copy Editing
8) Feature Writing
9) Marketing Public Relations

The last subject I listed is an elective subject and I had to choose between 4 other subjects but since I had my eye on some PR subjects I took it.

Besides having all these subjects I despise the fact that I have classes on Friday. Back in Melaka, classes on Friday will always be changed to any other day but here I think I have beg the lecturer to change the schedule. Not looking forward to that.

I'm starting to miss Melaka talking about all this. Sigh....

Anyways, nothing interesting have yet to happen so I'm just going to leave you here.

Back to Books!

Tomorrow will be the first day of my degree course and yet I don't know how I really feel about it. Happy? Yes 'cause I'll be seeing my friends. Sad? Yes 'cause I'm leaving home for Shah Alam. Scared? Yes 'cause I don't know what to expect for tomorrow!

I am trying to mentally and physically prepare myself for this 5 coming months of arduous work after a 4 months break. Gosh, why did they ever give us the 4 months break? One and a half month is enough but 4 months? You have made me become a lazy ass person.

 T___T

One thing's for sure is that I am prepared fashionably! During and outing with my estranged father I've bought bags, shoes and other stuff needed for degree :D Hey, we have to be prepared for that too. It does give a boost to your self-confidence level ;)

Oh no! I feel a fever coming :( Sore throat go away, come again.... never! xD

Wish me luck for tomorrow and the days after and good luck for my friends on the same boat as me too! :)

Super duper excited and I am really thankful for it! Today I'm fasting. It's for the past Ramadhan, puasa sunat and because of my result :)

I've told you before about the semester 5 assignment that my group and I had to do. A video clip assignment for out Audio and Visual subject. After all the pre-production, production and post-production I am finally allowed to showcase our video :D

Yeay! I have officially FINISHED my DIPLOMA!

After 3 years going back and forth to Melaka, I shall not have to drive long anymore!

:D

I can't believe it's already over. I will definitely miss my friends there and I already have a lunch date with my Rembian girls this Sunday.

I'm going to miss the food over at Melaka. The Asam Pedas, the Klebang Coconut Shake (will review that later), roti naan Pak Putra (drools) and Selera Kampung and lots more!

I will definitely make a day trip just for the food someday :D

But for now I will have my freedom, waking up late and just have nothing to do :D

I've got Journalism for the interview to degree!

Alhamdulillah!

My first choice and I am very thankful for it. I'm really scared for the interview since the last time I had an interview was like three years ago and that was for my diploma!

I really, really, really hope that I can ace this and InsyaAllah I will be joining my friends at UiTM Shah Alam :D

My friend posted this few hours ago and my God, just look at the number of students applying Broadcast!

And look at how many students applied for Journalism.

So sad! How many will be in my class (if I do get Journalism) if only 10 from diploma applied for it??

8th Festival Filem & Video Pelajar Malaysia 2011

Before I head on with the post I would like to apologize for the lack of posts. I've been busy with the upcoming event *winkwink* and other stuff that kept on minggling around like I have no other work.

It's almost a week since I got back form Sintok, Kedah for Festival Filem & Video Pelajar Malaysia. To set the record straight, my group didn't win  but other nominees from my university did win the Best Documentary :D

My group and I consisting of 11 people (only 9 went though) traveled with 2 other groups nominated for the festival from Melaka to Kedah.

Other nominees are 'Waving Flag' and 'Melatah: The Documentary'.

We departed from our campus at 2 30pm and reached Sintok at arnd 12am. Oh mai GOD! It was an uber long journey! Everyone complained the bus was going too slow but when I think back it's good to be safe than to rush. So I just decided to endure the journey.

Thank God we had a couple of stops to empty our tank and fill in our stomach :D

I'm slightly held up with work now so let the pictures do the talking :p

This is Safuan (aka Safwang) our entertainer. His group didn't make it to the finals as something happened but we were glad he came along. He can make you crack a million times without stopping :D

We were at Padang Besar on the second day of our trip. Padang Besar is at the border of Kedah and Thailand. We didn't bring our passport thought :(

Here we ate at the nearby stalls. The Somtam (papaya salad) is super awesome. OMG craving for it now :S

Anyways, I had Nasi Goreng Kampung! :D They didn't have enough ikan bilis though but it was nice and spicy just the way I like it to be :D

At night we head out to Jeti Kuala Perlis. The university did not provide us with any place to eat but thankfully they did provide us with the food.

All of us didn't want to go back to our rooms hence the trip to Kuala Perlis.

The third day the university did not provide us with any breakfast! I am still pissed at that since they were the host, they should be responsible for all things there. 

Our accompanying lecturers decided to bring us out to the 'town'. They had a mall with karaoke and bowling. After our lunch we had an awesome time singing our hearts out before the nerve comes in for the night.

Drum Rolls Please!

I have another post about food but I guess food has been conquering the space lately, I think I should give it a rest ;)

After waking up yesterday morning I was really anxious to find out what I've gotten for my fifth semester. It was nerve-wrecking, heart thumping, jaw dropping, eye-popping and other imaginable words you could use to describe your feeling when you're about to receive anything that would change part or your entire life!

And of course there would be drum rolls. Real or imaginable :p

The drum rolls that are leading as you get to know your life-changing moment. Some may be slow, just a slow thump. Some might be a heart racing one. It differs to each and everyone.

Mine was more like the first one. It was Friday so I had the slightest hope that it would bring me a little bit of luck.

First, I checked the student portal. The 'Examination Result' was still missing since the day before. On the middle section of the portal told me that the result is available at 9am. They also said result will be emailed to students.

During that my Facebook tab was open (as it would always have :p) and one of my friends commented that she checked her results through her email.

So to my email I go and it was there and........................ *drum rolls*

I've maintained and it was the highest GPA I've gotten! :D

Definitely a happy girl for the whole day :D

One more semester to go and InsyaAllah I will try to get the VC Award, Amin :)

I think this was the hardest semester through out my 5 semester (one more semester left!) and part of it was because I was unorganized :(

Ye lah, ye lah my fault too :(

But it wasn't only me, the assignments are super hard too! For the first time, I had to make or 'shoot' a video clip with my (AWESOME) group mates for our assignments!

Hell yeah we did Ning Baizura's Awan Yang Terpilu xD But who knows prolly it'll be one of the alternative video clip to the song no? ;)

It was just a music video clip we did for out Audio Visual class :D

We had to properly organize our time for the scenes wanted in our video clip. The place, the settings, the timing, the lighting and all those stuff. We even have our very own STORYBOARD!

This is a must in every production that takes place as it would help the production team to know things needed in every scene ;)

Now now back to results. Well it's due this FRIDAY!

Updates

After my last post, I've come to realized that I've been neglecting my bloggy. I hardly post any topic near enough to what is currently happening in my life. To make this up, I shall share you what I've been up to these past few weeks! :D

Let's start with how I am now a semester 5 Masscomm student! Yeay! I always have a thought on how it was going to be a long winding road finishing my diploma years but in the end time comes by fast and suddenly I'm in my final year.

All those sleepless night, rushing in to send in all the assignments before the dateline, the journey back home and of course, the issue on staying outside. Let me clear that issue if you may let me do so.

I have settled in a semi-D house about 10 minutes from my campus. It's a nice neighbourbood and with other 7 housemates it's a fun house :)

The only trouble is I do not have my own transportation and I have been bugging my house mates by asking them to send me to class and picking me up after class ends. This has caused a tiny, wee bit, itsy bitsy problem and I hope to find a solution soon (ahemahemmeansacarformeahemahem). Okay, no. It's not a tiny bit of a problem. It's huge but I'm waiting for some miracle and yes, that involves buying a car :P

For those who are interested in what subject I am taking this semester I am going to spill it now. All in all I have 6 subjects that I'm taking this semester and all of them are pretty hard. I'll make a list for you rather than type it in a sentence so you little stalkers won't have a hard time to list them down and paste it on your wall just to see in which class I'll be in.

There are only two new lecturers that I'll be seeing (PUB 351 and PRO 321) as they have not taught me, like ever, during my days as a Masscomm student. Out of all subjects, I dreaded COM 361 or Comm Research as I always say it.

Why so? Well, it's because the class is all about how to make the perfect research in which I'm not exactly keen on learning it. Plus the subject itself is quite dry. No matter how you want to make it interesting, it just bores me to death or to sleep. That's more like it :P

Anyways, lets move on to food! :D

Yes, yes I know you prefer to see all the pictures of food but I'm going to limit it this time. I will have another post on the latest dining places I've been to :)

Ps: I was having steamboat with my family to thank Allah because Atok's surgery went well. He's fully recovered now :)

I should be studying for my final test this Saturday (oh yeah, you read that right, it's on SATURDAY! why do they even think people would want to have tests on saturday? :S) but I just don't have the mood just yet.

I have photocopied the notes that I don't have but today was tiring.

I was with my mom to pay her summon at Bukit Aman but then something went wrong which I don't know what it's about. Then stopped by Jusco Wangsa Maju for some Spaghetti Meatball at Secret Recipe and head home.

It wasn't that tiring if you read it but I just feel tired.

Probably the lack of sleep I've gotten these past couple of weeks :/

Anyways, I've been listening to John Legend's Everybody Knows and it's awesome!!! Listen to it if you haven't :D



Annnddddd, Adam Lambert was on American Idol last night! He looked super hot!! Why do hot men must be gay??

Wait For Me

I have been abandoning my blog for some time now :(

Super sorry.

I was totally busy this past few weeks and my finals are coming with loads of datelines to meet. As of now, I only have two presentations and two tests to go.

This semester has been harder than last semester. I was wondering about the statements that my seniors made when I was in semester three.

"Semester three will be your busiest semester"

Ummmmmm.... yeah right!

This semester has been the busiest semester for me and after looking at the schedule for next semester, oh I don't even want to look at it :S

Anyways, pray that I'll get through all of my presentations, tests and final exam smoothly! :D

Oh What A Day...

If you found out that you have to go to this ceramah thingy on a Sunday you would probably decide not to go.

But then it says it's compulsory for every student to go. I decided to go since they put on a threat to not let students graduate.

No way I'm going to let that happen so I went for the ceramah.

The ceramah was supposedly to start at 9am but then the motivater was late. We eventually start at around 12pm.

12PM!!! Just imagine sitting in the hall (thank God it was air-coned) for three hours!

F***!!!

My butt hurts real bad :(

Anyways, the talker aka the Campus Director told us (the 4th sem students) that we have to stay outside the campus starting next sem!!

O.O (!!!!!!)

Okay, I was calm when he announce it but others were furious!

They were talking where would they stay, the cost of staying outside along with transportation and blah blah blah.

The first thought that came to mind was I would have to have a car to go to and fro the campus which means my mom would have to buy another car which makes me a happy person to finally have my own car XP

HAHA!!

I WISH! (and still wishing)

Anyways, I called my mom to tell her about it.

I expect her to say this when I tell her I will have to stay outside for the next semester

"WHATT??? You have to stay outside? Why do they only tell you now?! Why can't they tell earlier?! Haih, now have to find house, car and all those things *with angry face*"

But instead I got this

"Oh, ye ke? It's ok, I'll tell your grandpa about it. *as calm as she can be*"

:O

Ooooowwwhhhkayyyyy.

Wasn't the reaction I expected but then it's a good thing my mom doesnt freak out. If not I'll be freaking out too :O

As you would probably have guessed, I am home this weekend!

I am very happy and glad to be back home but I would like to share to you of what I have encountered during the journey from Malacca to KL last Friday.

As usual my roommate and I would pack up after our 2 30pm class. We would walk to the bus stop in front of the campus. During the walk, I saw the sky was turning dark. My guess as it was going to rain later but when we almost arrived at the bus stop the sky squeezed as hard as it can to pour all the water inside them and left us wet.

We were really wet!

Literally WET.

I was wearing my sandals and it got slippery in between my feet and the sandals which then forced me to walk slower. The best part was when we arrived at the bus stop the rain suddenly stopped.

Wow....

What a great time to rain eh?

Don't you have another time to rain? Can't you squeeze out those sponge-y clouds of your AFTER I get to the bus stop?

All is well after that. We rode the bus. A fast bus. A really fast bus because when I was half-asleep I can see the bus I'm riding is rapidly 'potong-ing' other vehicles.

But I made it safely to Pudu Raya Station. From Pudu we had to walk through Petaling Street to get to the Pasar Seni LRT station.

I am used to walking at Petaling Street that I can remember what type of item they sold there or even the smell of the place.

But that day it was an exception. I literally had smell God-knows-the-smelliest-stink ever which smelt really like a guy's body odour after they finish playing sports.

Eww..

It was so yucky that I walked really fast. Like really, really fast.

We were at the LRT station and parted ways. I was going for the Wangsa Maju station and my roommates head to KL Sentral.

I am also use to riding trains. Be it really empty or as packed as a sardine can. I had seen plenty of people's attitude and what not. I stepped into the train in hope of riding it feeling safe and cooled down but na'ah.

In front of me was this Chinese guy. He was shaking his head for God knows what. I thought he was just some normal guy who wants to release some stress but with some horrible body odour.

Once again I was wrong. When we reached to Dang Wangi's station the Chinese guys suddenly said to the guy behind him 'Go to hell you devil!!'

Oh wow!

Then he murmurs something unrecognizable which made the people around him including me to step back a couple of footsteps. Seriously, he made everyone there scared.

I kept on imagining he would suddenly be some psycho lunatic or something. Thank God on the next station he went down.

I can feel that everyone is relieved and I made it safely to Wangsa Maju and head back home with my mom.

I'm here to say that I have FINALLY WATCH SHERLOCK HOLMES!!

It was superbly awesome and I can guarantee that there will be a second movie.

I did watch Alvin and The Chipmunks 2. I was not that super duper excited of it just because I had recently watched it on the internet.

It was Little Sister's fault. She did all the searching in the internet. But they were cute nonetheless.

And the sweet sound of Friday. I said it was 'sweet' just because I was going back home. Home is where the heart is right now. Owhkay, that was a little bit too much but what's wrong with wanting to go back home everyweek. I promise once I get to drive to Malacca, Mama won't have to travel up and down to pick me up.

Anyways, something just pops up from my mind.

I was out yesterday because apparently my morning class was cancelled!

URGH!

I was frustrated not having to learn anything this week so I decided to go catch a movie with my classmates. Hence the two movies watched.

Teehee!

I have another class today and I really, really hope that it is NOT cancelled or I will smack the head of the lecturers. Just imagine being stuck in Malacca and not do anything. Urgh!

Therefore I end this post with a prayer so that class will really happen and it will end as soon as possible.

'twas a boring day

OMG!

Today was ultimately a boring day altogether with yesterday!

I should have not return to Malacca the first week. Today's 2.30pm class which was broadcasting was cancelled without any reason followed with another text from my classmates saying tomorrow's advertising class is cancelled. (!!!!)

EEKS!

Therefore to clear out a little bit (only a little) of boredom of these two days, I watched Gossip Girl season 3 from episode 10 till 12. Watched few movies, some of it alone and some of it with my roommates.

Urgh..

I'm not liking this situation. I feel so unproductive.

Anyways, I watched The Time Traveller's Wife which was interesting. Pity the wife always waiting for the husband to come back everytime he travelled. Plus the daughter is a time traveller but she has it controlled by herself.

I also managed to finish a book I've been struggling to keep my attention to.

Or in other words, I'm starting my fourth semester this Monday!

I don't know if I'm excited or not but I'll find out when I enter my first class. At 2.30. PM.

Hehe

Yeah, I only have six classes this semester for six subjects.

WEE!!!

BUT....

Each class = 3 hours class (!!!!!)

And most of them are in the afternoon.

Urgh :(

Anyways, I'll be registering today at 2pm meaning I will be on the road to Malacca at around 12pm.

Pick up Dila and Akin, register, clean room and then go back to KL!!

HEHE..

I'm so not ready to stay there.

But let's forget that for a moment because I want to tell you that I had meet my besties and long lost friends!

Okay maybe there is nothing oh-so-awesome about it but I've been wanting to see them for God knows how long!

Okay, there are two Fatins so I labeled them with S and K at the back.

I really had fun with them and I can't believe that I can still laugh with having tears falling off my eyes.

They're the only ones who knows how much I can pull out my 'tears of joy' when I laugh.

Another person I met was Manul. He is not Indian or any other races but just a plain Malay.

Way back in high school someone started calling him Manul so he got used to that so I kept on calling him that too.

Anyway, his real name is Luqmanul Hakim and he loves pink hence the pink in his name.
