Sephora Coming VERY Soon!

Ohmaigawd!

I just cannot contain my happiness from hearing the new that Sephora is going to open on the 28th April! Or so I heard from the rumours :p

Hehe

But still, for you make up junkies obviously (like me too :p) you would obviously believe it, right?

I've found an article on MSN saying it will be opened early May but as the rumours goes around, Sephora is expected to launch this Thursday!

*Blast my head off!*

I want the NAKED palette! Everyone else is lemming for it and I MUST grab it too!

But sadly I'll be at Melaka until this Saturday for my VIVA and interview for degree.

T__________________________T

Calm down Izzah, it's your future you're talking about. Chill.  Anybody who is going for the opening let me know what brands they're going to bring in, please? :D

Time for research report again!

Origins, NARS, Sigma and Other Wants

Watch this video and you'll understand what I'm about to say.

Done? No?! GO WATCH UNTIL THE END!

Done now? Okies, good :)

If you feel like buying some of the products TiffanyD mentioned in the video, you probably have the idea how much I want those stuff too. But I'm not allowed to go on a shopping spree until February :(

Why? Because I made a stupid promise to someone that I won't go spending my money without any reason, and it's not my mom.

-_____________________________________-

Anyways, some of the stuff that makes me wanna buy them are these. Oh, I really believe in what Tiffany says since she has oily skin like me and I did try a few products that she recommended and it worked well on me :)

The first one is the Garnier Skin-Renew Anti-Dark-Circle Eye Roller.

What I like about this eye roller is that it acts as a concealer and a treatment in one. For those who really did watch the video, Tiffany mentioned this. Although it is not a universal product, people with generally fair to medium skin tone would benefit to this.

Now, I did try to search for this product at the local drugstore but to fail I didn't find one :( What they had was the Skin-Renew Anti-Puff Eye Roller. But if anyone and I mean ANYONE knows where to get this product in Malaysia it would be really help full if you inform me :)

The second product mentioned in the video was the Origins' VitaZing

I have not tried it yet but from the way Tiffany raved about it and the comments I read at the website it has totally pull me in to buy it.

VitaZing is actually categorized as moisturiser but it has a tint to it that made it more like a tinted moisturiser but it's not and it comes with an SPF 15 which means you don't have to put another product on your face and saves your ka-ching ka-ching from buying sunblocks :D

Tiffany also mentioned that she doesn't have to wear foundation when she's wearing this. I love that concept since I don't really like to put a whollota products on my face and it saves my make up time :D

One thing that was bothering me was Tiffany is living in the winter season when she wears this. You really need moisturisers when it's cold and dry which makes it ideal to wear it there. Being a Malaysian it is obviously super hot here. I'm a little bit worried if the moisturiser would give a little more than what I need from a moisturiser :(

I will try to get a sample of it and hopefully it won't break me out. For those who have tried this, your opinion would be really helpful :)

This next product wasn't in the video but it was from Tiffany's earlier videos. She mentioned about Origins' Brighter by Nature Skin Tone Correcting Serum.

I just like this product for no reason :p

It's basically a serum that can help reduce discolouration and from the comments or reviews I read most people that have used this product said it has helped them to lighten up dark spots.

I have a red-ish skin tone so I do get redness on my cheeks. I'm considering to buy this just to see if it can help in reducing the redness that I have plus, as Tiffany had said, it works great as a face primer as it has a little bit of tint to it :)

Another product I would love to get my hands on is the NARS Sheer Glow Foundation.

I heard great reviews about this product but sadly Malaysia does not have NARS counters or stores here :(

Boo hoo :(

A little angel told me Malaysia is going to have Sephora, I really really wish that they would bring NARS here :D

Anyways, about this product it's a foundation that gives you a dewy finish. Or so it says. Tiffany had used this and from her review she had not had any breakouts from it and that's why I would really love to try this.

I do not like the bottle because it doesn't have a pump so you have to pour it out and that will just make it messy but I think NARS get a lot of complains from customers who used it so they decided to sell the pump too :D

Yay! No more sloppy sloppy! :D

This next product is too cute not to be put in. It's the Sigma 12 Brush Kit - Make Me Blush!

Don't they look super cute with the pink handles? :D I'm totally loving the colour!

I really really want this brush set. I have a set of brush bought from M.A.C but it doesn't contain all the basic brushes. I really don't want to spend a lot on make up brushes as I'm still an amateur in this make up thingy so it's a really good kit to start with.

They have blue, black and purple too but the pink is the prettiest :D

It also comes with a container to let you store your brushes!

Pretty right? :D

Me want, me want, me want!

Oh and the last product I would really love to get is the Sigma Flat Top Synthetic Kabuki - F80 brush.

I will get this brush once I get the NARS Sheer Glow Foundation to go with it. I discovered this brush when I was watching Michele's Foundation Routine: NARS Sheer Glow.

It looked super soft and Michele mentioned that it doesn't shed so that's a good thing :)

And that wraps up the stuffs that I want to buy once I'm out from this friggin' torment :D

Ps: I'm sorry for some of the non-high-quality pictures. Blogger picture thingy just messes it up :(

Purr-fume

If you have not heard this, it's okay.

Katy Perry launched her first perfume, Purr! It was launched early last month. I was going to post this but have not gotten around to do it since I was busy with my finals -___-

The bottle is so pweetty! :D Diamonds, cat-shaped and purple of course it'll grab my attention! Unfortunately it is only available in the US, specifically Nordstrom.

On the Nordstrom website it says,

Purr by Katy Perry eau de parfum begins with the aroma of peach nectar and forbidden apple, evolves with a distinct floral bouquet of jasmine blossom, Bulgarian rose and vanilla orchid, and slowly reveals accents of creamy sandalwood and musk. Like the singer herself, Purr is playful yet sophisticated. Katy Perry transcends barriers with her music—so does her new fragrance.

The perfume is available in 30ml, 50ml and 100ml and retails at $45-65.

I envy you US residents! :(

Katy Perry on the launch of her first perfume, Purr.

But for now I would appreciate it if someone would give me a bottle or a set of Vera Wang's Princess ;D

I have been in love with the perfume since I first smell it few years ago and now I wonder why didn't I get it any sooner? O.o

Is it just me or does anyone realize I'm liking perfumes in purple? O.O

Benefit's Her Name was Glowla

As promised, this is the item I managed to grab during the hustling and bustling of final exam :D

Benefit's Her Name was Glowla. I have wanted this since I first saw it on Benefit's website. I was out with my sister to get my mind off all the books I have been reading and we went to Pavilion. I took a peak at Benefit's counter and asked if their holiday collection is already in or not and God bless me it was!

:D

In the kit you will get 10 items. CORALista, high beam, moon beam, 5 eyeshadows, BADgal lash mascara, and life on the A list lip gloss which comes in a cute packaging just nice for you to bring around while travelling.

Note though only the lip gloss is in full size, the rest are all sample size. I am not sure about the eyeshadows as I heard they are 'new' eyeshadows.

I think this is the best kit as for those who are new to Benefit can try a lot of products at one go and it only costs RM 153!

Mom + Dad = Child

My family and I welcome our newest addition to our not so ramai family members (memang sangat tak banyak sampai boleh dikira menggunakan sebelah tangan).

A baby GIRL!!

Now I just want to say that my family has more girls than guys. Wherever we go there will always be loads of girls with A guy.

But nonetheless our gang of girl power has become stronger!

:D

Hehe

The picture above is my uncle and aunt but they look young though.. :P

And by looking the pictures you know that I'm home this weekend :)

I went out with my mom and little sister and got this!

An eyeliner from MAC as mine last eyeliner is at its end point and the book I've always wanted to read from my favourite author!

:D

Now I can go back to Malacca in peace, well, not really :P

All About Mascara

Based on the title up there, no I don't have any tips for you but a new video from makeupbytiffanyd is up and this time she talks about mascara!

:)

Before I go any further I just want to say that believe it or not I don't have a mascara.

(!!!)

I know you would probably be like 'ohmegod! how can she not have a mascara?!'

FYI I barely wear mascara just because I think it makes my eyes feel sleepy. It doesn't make me look sleepy but maybe the formula that I had on was not suitable for me.

But anyways I've been wanting to try out MAC's Plush Lash as suggested by Tiffany.

It claims to volumnize, lengthen, curls and lifts your lashes with no clumping, spiking, smudging or flaking. Sounds great to me and hopefully I can get it by this week.

:D

When I'm bored

I was bored to death being stuck in Lendu on weekends for the first time. I could not sleep well and kept on waking up every hour or so.

The only thing that is available for me to connect with the world is through my broadband which has its highest at odd hours a.k.a the time people actually are sleeping a.k.a between 2am until 8am.

I tried to google interesting stuff that pops up in my head by nothing came except make up, make up and more make up.

So, I googled Benefit and a lighting struck at my head thinking about how I could buy this or that now.

Here are the things that I will most probably use the most and I might actually think of buying some for myself.

Benefit posie tint

I tried this twice at the Benefit counter. It gave me a really natural blush look! Put three dots on the apple of your cheeks, pat it and in an instant you'll have a really natural blushed look.

Do take note that it dries up really quick so do it on one cheek first then move on to the other.

I really love this thing and with its price tag of RM 145 (if I'm not mistaken) it's affordable considering the amount of the liquid that comes with it and the amount of what you'll be using.

Not to forget it is also a lip stain meaning you can use it on your lips too! I have never tried it on my lips but I can see it'll give you a lovely pink-ish lips! :D

I also found out on their website that they have the mini version of posie tint. I'm not sure if they have it here in Malaysia but I'll try to find out once I'm back in KL.

Benefit Celebutante Kit

Benefit makes a lot of palettes such as big beautiful eyes palette, brows a go-go, smokin' eyes and others.

Last christmas they put out another palette and which had me goin gaga over it. :P

It's the Celebutante Kit people! In it contained a Dallas face/bronzer powder, two velvet eye shadows in leggy and dandy brandy, benetint the lip and cheek stain, high beam, lip gloss in I'm with the band, two full-finish lipsticks in lady's choice and no competition, interconnecting brushes which has the talent brush and the fluff shadow brush and a face powder brush.

That's a lot for a kit which costs only RM 145!

It's good for traveling and definitely a great buy! The only thing I did not like about it is it has benetint. I wish I could change it to posie tint since I look better with it. Nevertheless it's a great kit! :D

Benefit high beam
I have never tried this but I've seen some videos on Youtube showing people applying it and it does really gives a natural glow on the face. One thing I'm scared of is its colour. It has a pink based colour which for people with red-undertones like me will probabl look more red if I ever apply it on my face.

Hence, comes the moon beam down here.

Benefit moon beam

moon beam is probably more suitable for people with red-undertoned skin as it has yellow-ish tones in it. It will neautralize the redness and therefore will create more natural glow! Well, that is what I imagine it to be but I don't know so I will try to test it once again when I'm in KL.

Benefit powderflage

This product has been used so many times in my favourite makeup artist Tiffany D's video! I've been wanting to get my hands on it but living in Malacca has been keeping my pocket a hole. I will defitnitely try this one! It's a lose powder concealer but people mostly use it for the undereye.

I'm not sure of the price but it is probably around RM 90 - RM 1 45. Will update about the price.

Benefit eye bright
This one too has been featured in Tiffany D's video. It does brighten up the eye area and you can use it on your nose bridge, undereye area and under your brow.

It is easy to blend out and a definite must in every make up kit!

Benefit BADgal mascara in black, brown, blue and plum.
Black

Brown

Blue

Plum

I've tried the BADgal lash mascara in black and wow! I look like I have fake lashes on! Lol! It really made my eyes look bigger and brighter! :D

Me likey! It is sligthly cheaper than Dior Iconic Mascara with a price tag of RM95.

Benefit BADgal waterproof mascara.I did not try this but it should have the same formula as the normal mascara except a plus of waterproof in it.

Benefit f.y...eye!
Bad news for you and you make up addicts would most probably heard the news. It was been discontinued! I know a girl who's really upset about it.

By the way she was looking upset, I bet it's a really amazing eye primer. When I watched the video, I was really shocked! Benefit has been discontinuing a lot of their products lately. I mean other brands do to but not as often as Benefit do.

I'm currently using Elianto's eye primer and it's not good. It could not last my eye make up long enough. I wanted to try Benefit's but since they discontinue it, I will have to wait for it to come back. Hopefully they will not change the formula that much.

Wow! That was a lenghty post! Hehe..

That proves how bored I am in Malacca.

on the way to hell

OMG!

I'm registering this Friday. I can't believe that holiday is going to end soon!

0.O

I'm starting class this coming Monday.

What I like about this coming semester is that on Monday I only have 2 classes and which starts at 2.30pm.

*grins*

And on Friday, I absolutely have NO CLASS!

Read that?

NO CLASS!!!

*wootwoot*

That is totally fantastic!

Anyway, I went to Ikea last Saturday and bought a laundry bag, some chair cushion and cute plastic containers.

Those are a must for college, really.

And tomorrow I'm off to Tesco to buy some groceries. Sounds like a lot of shopping. Me likey! :D

As for other things that are not connected with college is I'm so getting MAC Mineralized Skin Finish Natural.

MAC Mineralized Skin Finish Natural

My Clinique Loose Powder is finishing so since there's like a hype in minerals products which most people say it's good for your skin, I'm trying to get my hands on that.

And yes, I did get idea from my make up idol, Tiffany D.

Her make up is AH-MA-ZING!!

Really.

Now that I remember, maybe I should get Benefit's That Gal primer. Maybe MAC's 182 and 150 brushes but they are tad bit expensive.

MAC 182

MAC 150

Eeek!

Lol!

Gosh, I miss my college friends. Going to see them soon. :D

Oh yea, I'm definitely getting some cuppacakes from wondermilk. Been craving for it.

:D
