reaching the end

Being in one of the biggest company that produces and publishes newspaper was not what I have expected to experience in my 22 years on this Earth. And I need to thank the Almighty for it, Alhamdulillah.

Two weeks more and I'll be ending my short stint at the editorial department of New Straits Times. Needless to say there were ups and downs being part of the industry but looking at the bright side, I am thankful to have gone through an unforgettable journey.

I learnt so much than I had imagined, met people that I would never have if I were not a reporter and along the way make new friends and acquaintances.

Despite all this, I just could not wait to end my internship and just take a rest. Finish my internship report that should be on its way to the end because I need to present it by first week of July! Hmph. Okay be still Izzah.

It's not that I don't like it there but sometimes you are just so tired of waiting for people to respond to you. Yes, I do like the adventures and going for events and all but I'm not one of the people that likes to deal with political stuff.

I am more of the magazine, feature writing, soft-stories kind of girl! I love beauty, I love writing stuff on fashion, new trends on the runway, I appreciate live shows and performances, giving back to the community and all that sort!

Oh and building positive relationships with others plus planning and strategising new ideas that could attain benefit for everyone.

I feel like I'm writing for my interview hehe

Oh well, two more weeks, fourteen days to go. Minus the weekends, that should be 10 days. Oh God, I hope you give me strength to complete my internship with highest patience and end it with the best possible way.

AMIN.

  1. If it's the magazine life you're craving, then I'd highly recommend you try joining TimeOut KL or POSKOD. They'd be more up your alley of interest.

  2. Do they accept fresh graduates though?
