shabby's birthday

First of all, there are SO MANY birthdays this month. I bet they were made during Valentine's. E. Okay way over-imaginative.

Anyways, it was my long time high school friend's, Shaby, birthday! The five of us (Lisa, Dzaf, Fara, Shaby and I) decided to go for dinner at Plan B but this time it's at Bangsar Village I.

I have no idea what to give Shabby so I just bought something simple. Hope you liked it Shabu-shabuya :p

This packaging is so cute I feel like getting one for myself!

Dzaf and Shabby :)

When we first arrived there, the first thing I spotted was the telly. They were showing Pendekar Bujang Lapok. Yeay to P. Ramlee! :D

I could hardly find any shop that shows P. Ramlee movies and seeing this makes me happy. Who here doesn't know or watch P. Ramlee movies, well you ought to Google it straight now :p

Yeay to Pendekar Bujang Lapok and P. Ramlee!

The last time I went to Plan B I opted to have pasta. I did not feel like having one that night so I settled with their Chicken Burger. Meanwhile, these 3 sweet ladies somehow wanted the Asian-Style Golden Softshell Crab. 3 of em. *slapsforehead*

Take picture first then we'll order :D

Lisa took steak cooked at medium raw. Aiyo, I can't eat any meat that isn't cooked. I feel like it's not safe to eat and with the blood oozing out from the meat :S And that is one of the reason I don't eat sushi in case you're wondering. Hehe

Mihihi. That's the sexy girl card Shabby gave Lisa :p

FYI, the card that Lisa was holding was a card brought home by Shabby from Korea. Shabby had a trip there and found these cards lying around. Apparently it's some card where you can call girls. Or was it the plastic surgery card. Okay can't remember but then on these cards, there are pictures of girls with sexy outfits.

Some even had big boobs but super tiny body. Obviously they had 'em done. Korea is so famous with plastic surgery that it's normal to see people walking around at malls with plaster still sticking on their body and face according to Shabby *facepalm*

Asian-Style Golden Softshell Crab

This is definitely one of the silly moments we were having hehe

It's too creamy that I can't eat :S

As usual, I had my Watermelon Lychee drink. This time it tasted good :D Our birthday girl was so random she took root beer float.

Shabu: This is really good. I want more, I want more!

My watermelon lychee

Chicken Burger! :D

Some odd looking keropok that I don't know the name

Another keropok. It's purple by the way. Such an odd keropok la

I love the salad!

After we were done with our dinner, it's time to surprise Shabby with a birthday cake.

**********************************

*quickflashback*

When we entered the restaurant, Fara asked me to teman her to the loo when in fact she wanted to go to a cake store to buy one for Shabu. We were so unprepared that we didn't know where to hide the cake.

So we asked Dzaf to distract Shabby so she won't look around and we would have the opportunity to get in the restaurant without getting caught with the cake.

Thank God the restaurant had 2 entrances so we quickly gave the cake to one of the waiter and asked him to bring it out after we had our dinner.

****************************
Fara sort of signalled the waiter to bring out the cake but then suddenly the waiter went and get a few plates and forks. Without any guilty face expression they arranged it on the table. Fara and I were like "why la they susun like this? tak surprise at all".

Then came the birthday song! Shabby were surprised (thank God) to see the waiters bringing out the cake and sing her the birthday song. We were quite shocked too since we didn't ask them to do that. Haha! So good la the waiters there *clapclapclap*

The birthday cake!

Shabu is 22 years old this year! *yeay*

One of the waiter took SO LONG to take our pictures that the candles melted almost all the way through! Oh well, at least Shabby is still happy. Hehe

So kesian the candles. All almost melted -___-

My hands are shaking but I still need to look good in pictures

The cake was cold when they brought it that Shabby had a hard time cutting it.

Shabby: Eii! Macam mane nak potong niii? *tries to cut with trembling hands*

Fara: Meh I pegang *hold the plate*

Shabby: *hands shaking while cutting cake*

LOL!

Fara: meh I tolong

Almost there....

Finally! Time to take pictures :D

This writer also wants her share of a picture with the cute cake :p

The cake was really good and it was not hard at all. I wonder why we had a hard time cutting it. It was a fun night gossiping with them and updating each other. Shabby is all the way at Egypt now. Hi Shabuya! Hope you'll have a great time there!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO SHABU-SHABU. MAY ALL THE GOOD THINGS COME YOUR WAY AND HOPE YOU LIKED MY PRESENT! XOXO!

Oh oh, I forgot to mention this. Shabu gave me this cute nail clipper from Korea! So chio! :D

Thank you Shabu!
