halo, the sun

I'm not talking about the newspaper. This is about the Sun, Sun. The one that looks like a ball with super hot flames. Yes, that one.

Today, Anis, Izzah (I have a classmate with the same name but thank God I'm known as Zaza) and Baqek went to the Roti Impit stall.

Roti Impit is the Ayamas stall where they sell hotdogs and drinks.

While waiting for their orders, the Abang that was working there said the Sun was glowing. We wondered what could that Abang mean. All of us thought the Abang was making a joke ('cause he always does) but he was not.

Look at this....

Isn't it amazing? I took this shot by using my iPod only so it doesn't glow like it did when I saw it with my eyes. But that's the closest that I can get.

Here's another shot.

This looks more real with the clouds softly colliding with the glow. I was curious about what phenomenon is happening. Who doesn't? So I went back home and Googled it.

Apparently, it's some halo that is created by reflecting and refracting lights between the sky and some ice crystals. I don't know where the ice crystals come from but I know that it is surreal. Here's the Wikipedia page that I read it on 'Halo'. It isn't that credible but what the hell :p

After seeing this, it reminded me of how Allah can make incredible phenomenon such as this and I am grateful that I can see it. I hope you can feel the way I do :)

On a lighter note, it was a hot pink day for me :D Decided to look preppy but yet vibrant enough today. A bright colour can somehow affect my mood for that particular day. Anis wore a lime green blouse. So colourful lah us today :D

Ps: Do you guys know that H&M will be opening its second outlet at Setia City Mall? The opening is tomorrow at 11am!

Til then!
