*grins*
No. That's not it. It's just that I've been sick. I've been throwing up and having diarrhoea which is so not what I need at this time.
It's time for the jolly good time. The sparkles from the Christmas celebration and not to forget Eid Mubarak (HAPPY RAYA HAJI to muslims!).
Gosh!
I love all the decorations for this Christmas. It's all glittering, not that it never looks good, but this time they really made it super twinkle-ey.
Anyways, I'm just blabbering here.
I did have something up before I got incredibly sick (and had caused me some tumbling turmoil as I would like to call it).
I attended my second cousin's engagement ceremony at Malacca (of all places)! I have not seen
her for like ages and suddenly my mom told me that we were going to her engagement ceremony.
0.o
But it was really nice to see the ceremony going on. I had always have a thought that weddings have their own special bliss. It's just that whenever I see a person marrying another person, it's like a huge chunk of blessing had been slowly glided down by God.
(I'm sounding incredibly off, don't I?)
I'm practically trying to say that when people get married, they are sort of blissed by God.
(now, that's a little easier to understand ain't it?)
:P
Now, let's get to another more interesting topic.
I WENT TO THE FISH SPA!
*uberbiggrin*
My aunt was treating so I went there with Arfah, Ika my cousin and Ina my 10 year old aunt.
Arfah and Ika was afraid to put their feet into the pond but Ina was super brave. She loved the feeling of the tingling when the fish bites.
Lol!
It was really nice. They had two sizes of fish. The little ones and the big ones. When you put in your feet inside the small ones, it feels like someone is tickling you. The big ones, well, it feels like some electric sensation going on your feet but it's really nice.
*grins*
We were there for about 45 minutes. And this is the result.
I forgot to take the 'before' picture but my feet is totally clean.
*grins*
Anyways, we head to Food Republic to get our lunch. Gosh! I was so hungry (result of not having breakfast) so I bought a whollota food.
I had Laksa, Yong Tau Foo, Rojak Buah, Popiah Basah and God knows what I ate. Yes, yes I know. I eat a lot.
Haha!
And that's why I'm getting fatter.
:P
One more thing of why I'm updating so late it's because I was away on a family holiday.
Guess where it is?
MALACCA!
I KNOW!
My kampung is there, I study there, my aunt studies there too and so why on Earth would I go there, for a family holiday somemore, right?
Well, first of all, one of my grand-aunt had a meeting there so we had a free accomodation. Two, we have not stepped into the old village house.
My grand-aunt and her family went to Malacca on Wednesday since she has some activity going on. We (Mama, Arfah, my aunt Fairuz, my grandma and I) head down on Thursday.
After unpacking our stuff, we head to Tampin to have our lunch. I was shocked to see there were Pizza Hut and Kentuckey there. We decided to fill our tummies with Pizza Hut.
Oh gosh! The service there was tremendously SLOW! I can even talk faster while waiting for the food to arrive. There weren't many people over but somehow their service was slow.
My mom's order was the last one to arrive. My mom was quite enraged by it. In the end, once we get out of the restaurant we complained on how slow it was and we weren't full.
Sigh.
There was a shopping centre in Tampin called Tampin Shopping Centre (obviously). I found my
favourite Apollo Peanut Bar there!
I've been searching it in KL for like forever! I bought one and it was only RM2!
So cheap right?
*grins*
On the way to TSC we stopped over to The Baker's Cottage. We were shocked to find the shop to be there since the one in Ampang had been closed. We bought a whollota bread and pastries over there for the next day's breakfast.
Then off we go to our old kampung house. There were some leaves and dirt. We cleaned it up
and guess what?
We found old album filled with hundreds of pictures!
Here are some that I took home with.
After looking over at the albums we head back to the apartment in A Famosa to get our prayers done.
Then off we go to Sri Percik. I helped myself with Nasi Goreng Paprik and Lai Chi Kang. I was ful by then. So we head back to the apartment and wait to start another day.
Okay. That last line was somewhat I call 'poyo'.
:P
Anyways, we woke at around noon (from the late night chatting). We head on to Tampin(again) to Nasi Kandar restaurant over there. I had nasi Beriani with some Ayam Masak Merah and Iced Lemon Tea. It was good.
I bought another two packets of Apollo Peanut Bar since I could hardly find one in KL over at
TSC.
Mahkota Parade and Dataran Pahlawan were our next destination. Fairuz and my grandma bought some 'kuih' to bring home. Before that, we had trouble finding any parking spot since so many Singaporians were over adding up with the school holiday.
After buying some stuff we head back to A Famosa and since Ina wanted to go to Cowboy Town, we the adults had to cancel our plan to go to Jonker Walk.
We were quite dissapointed for not having time to go there but since Kak Noi my big sister was not with us I am quite sure that we'll go sometime soon.
At first Ina was the only one that was having fun. But then I asked Ellie, Fairuz and Arfah to play some games there. We tried archery. That was funny.
First let me ask you a question. Have you ever seen anybody doing archery and letting go the arrow with their eyes closed while having their head turned backwards?
If you're answer is no then I'm about to tell you about a girl that did that. She had never try her hands over on archery so you could call this her first time doing it. She was nervous (hell yea, since there were a lot of people watching) and so she pulled the arrow and let it go while turning her head backwards and having her eyes shut.
Guess who's that.
YEAP! It's ME!
Lol!
It's just a reflex that I get. My mom was laughing watching me do it. After trying our chance (I barely did my best) we head over to the Bumper Car game. Ina had her time trying it so we decided to give it a try.
Ina, Fairuz, and I droe our own car and Arfah had Ellie as her passenger. God! You should see how we drive.
We were REALLY bumping off the car. Just imagine, we barely get to put on out so-called seatbelts when the person handling the game pushed the button that moves our car. All I know is that Ina had already started her car and bumping off people. It was hilarious.
My mom told me that the people that were watching us were saying 'WOAH!' whenever we bumped into each other. I remember this one time where Arfah were bumping onto me and God, I heard a loud 'bang'.
Maybe that's why the person 'jaga-ing' stopped us earlier than he should. It was so fast. We only had few rounds.
Oh well, it was fun nevertheless. We can't stop laughing after we got off the ride. After dropping off Ina we head off to Tampin to find some food. It was already 12am and where in the world can we find food in a state where the people sleeps early?
On the way there, out of the sudden we found a house that was turned into a restaurant and guess what, they had some kareoke session going on!
I had Nasi Goreng Kampung and as usual Iced Lemon Tea. It was really funny watching those 'abangs' singing. They should be called 'pak cik' but to make it sound nice the DJ called them 'abang'.
I recalled having to hear one of them sounding really good.
We reached at the apartment at around 1 30am.
The next day was the day that we were supposed to check out. We got out of the apartment at around 11am and we rushed off to Mahkota Parade and Dataran Pahlawan(again). We had Old Town for brunch.
Since it was sale time we head over to Padini concept store to buy some clothes. I got myself a pair of jeans and a couple of tops.
On the way out of Mahkota Parade we encounter some massive jam. It was really superbly over packed out on the streets. We took over half and hour to just get out of Mahkota Parade and God knows how long it took us to reach to the traffic light to Pantai Puteri.
When we arrived at Pantai Puteri Ellie and Ina had already have their kites off to the skies. The sea level were rising so we had a moment or two at the beach. I love beaches.
Then it was out time to say goodbye to Ellie, Ina and my grand-uncle and grand-aunt. We head back to the town to go to Tan Kim Hock.
When we arrived there, the cendol store was closed so my mom and my grandma decided to buy some of the dodols only.
Then off we head back to KL.
It was a fun trip. Really. The last time that we had a family holiday was way back when I was in Form 2. We were in Perth.
Perth should be some boring place to visit but since there were 10 of us there (a guy and 9 girls) it made it so much fun.
Ps: My result's comng out tomorrow! Scared and anxious. Pray for me and wish me luck!
