Kiss X2 is only the Japanese version of its name.
My grandpa being the sponsor let me choose which ever I want and since I fell comfortable with Canon (as I have tried it before), I chose 450D as a starting point.
To be honest, I really have no clue in operating this extremely fragile machine. When the person who was servicing me asked me to try it, I was a little bit on the hesitating side.
Just imagine yourself, who do not know how to catch a fish with a fishing net, try to do it without any learning experience. You know what I mean.
:S
Anyway, I have been wanting to post this since forever! Kidding but it has been sitting in my lappie for quite some time.
My aunt brought my family and I to her neighbour's new restaurant, Seri Penang located at Cyberjaya.
As the name says it, its specialty are Penang food. Since my aunt told me she was going to bring me there, I decided to take my Canon (I should really name my dslr) for a trip to snap those delicious food.
From my house, located near Zoo Negara, we took the Maju Expressway which only took about half and hour to reach to Cyberjaya.
As soon as I reach there, I could see the restaurant, a two-storey shoplot near a Petronas.
The ground floor is for regular diners and the top level is especially for occasional events.
My aunt's neighbour a.k.a. the owner was there so we had a little bit more of attention.
Being called Penang aunthentic food, I obviously wanted to try the Laksa Assam but before we start on anything, we tried out their Rojak Penang.
What I like about this rojak is that they had take into consideration to put the shrimp crispy thingy. It definitely made it taste nicer. The fruits are all ripe and crispy which equals to a yummy starter.
Then come the main course. As previously said, I took Laksa Assam.
It was served in a triangular bowl. Interesting.
It was a little bit sour than I expected but it was thick which means there are a lot of fish paste in there. A little taste of spicy-ness in it. Overall, I would order it again.
Then there was Mango Salad a.k.a. Kerabu Mangga. Honestly, it lacked of salt and sugar and could and should be improved.
Another dish that I would recommend anyone who wants to eat here is their Belacan Fried Rice or I like to call it Nasi Goreng Belacan.
The first time it entered my mouth, I was already in love with it! I was wonderful. The taste is absolutely perfect. Alas, I only had one bite and this is because by the time I tasted it, I was already half full.
Not to mention, others have already eaten the rice with much to consider that they left quite a few for me to taste.
:P
At least I get to taste it, right?
As for my drinks, I selected Selasih Syrup which is actually sirap selasih but with added jelly thingy.
It was..... ok.
And the rest of if are these.
Pai Tee (not sure if the spelling's right tho, sorry!)
Oh yea, before I forgot. I turned 19 at 8th of July and one of my precious gift was this. :)

Lady Jayne Notepad. Lovely. Thanks! Too beautiful to use it. :D

And the last thing for today. I tried to do some halved boiled egg. So boiled it.

And all I get was a BOILED egg. :(
