B'Day Bash

Haha! It’s my youngest aunt birthday party!

She’s only 10 mind you.

Me, Jannah, B'day Girl Ina and Arfah

Lol!

It was nice seeing all the kids having fun. It kinda brought back my memories when I was a little kid.

With Ika, my only cousin

All the honesty they had in their eyes. That’s why I love kids.

Some of the kids that were there

Lol!

Alright. Back on the birthday party. Well since it’s a children party you can expect it to have games and stuff.

Kids playing game

Oh yea, when they scream..

Oh God!

I assure you it’s more than 93 dB.

'Up, up and AWAY!!'

Lol!

I haven’t heard children screaming like mad people for what seemed like a million years. I really thought that it can break the glasses.

Anyways, we had fun. Hopefully we’ll get another chance to gather like this.

Oh yea, one more thing before I forget...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY INA!!! GOD BLESS YOU!!

Ps: I’m anxiously waiting for my interview result! Please pray that I’ll get it! Thanks!

Around And About

YEAY!!

I PASSED!!

Passed what? Lol!

I passed my driving test today! (extremely happy)

It was my first time ever and I passed! God. I was so nervous when I get to the driving range.

But thank God, I managed to control myself from thinking about flunking out.

The part that I was super scared was the ‘bukit’ part. I thought that I was going to over the line or never make the line but it turns out I got just right.

Hehe.

Ps: My mom told me that I’ll be going to Shah Alam to accompany my sister drive back home until I start my university life! Urgh! Hate traveling alone. =(

Traveling Alone

Alright. I never ever travel alone but last Saturday I had to.

Reason?

Well, I had to accompany my sister go back home from Shah Alam ‘cause my mom had other things to do and she’s super busy and I was the only one who’s free at the moment.

So around 11am, my mom dropped me off at the LRT station. The journey from the LRT station to KL Sentral wasn’t bad but from KL Sentral to Batu Tiga…

Phew…

Just can’t describe it.

Anyways, when the train arrived at KL Sentral, I was shocked to find that it was blacked out!

I mean, it can still move but there is no electricity for the lights. But calmed my heart by telling myself that they just want to save energy and that’s why they turned off the lights.

I was skeptic about going on the train but thinking of my sister driving alone, I just forced my self to go on that train.

While the train was moving, some uncomfortable noises happened.

Yup!

There was about two to three times that some banging was heard. Seriously!

Everybody was quite shocked when they hear it. But I was praying so hard that nothing would happen on my way there.

And thank God! I safely mad my way there.

What an experience I’d say!

Ps: I'm addicted to Paramore's That's What You Get!!

What’s Cooking?

DAVID COOK!!

Yup!

I thought that David Cook stole the entire performance last night!

With his rendition of Mariah Carey’s Always Be My Baby he definitely pulled in the crowd.

Mariah Carey also said that she didn’t know what Cook is going to do with the song and after the show, I’m sure that she’ll totally be in awe.

OMG!

I’ve been rooting for David Cook since he auditioned for AI. Lol!

Go go DC!!

Ps: I thought he has the best talent in AI so far!

Interviewed!!

OH MY GOD!!!!

I went for the interview yesterday and I couldn’t believe what I did during the interview.

But first just let me tell you what I had to do for the interview.

We (all of the interviewees) started our interview with a written test first. They asked us to write about ourselves, why we chose the program and our aspirations.

We had half an hour to write down the essay and so I started to write and write just as usual.

I didn’t know whether I write faster than anyone or whether I write at a normal speed but after taking glances at both of my side I was quite shocked!

Both girls sitting next to me had only written about two paragraphs! And me, myself had already written the whole page.

I mean it was almost the end of the time!

Alright, move on. After we had done our written test, the invigilators asked us to hold on to our papers because we only had to give it to the panels that will interview us.

I was in panel 6 and boy, when I catch a glimpse of the interviewer. Phew… scary!

I was the last on to be interviewed so I could see the reaction after someone had been interviewed and I’d say, it’s raining tears!

When it was my turn, I prayed to God so that the interviewer would be nice to me. I stepped inside the room and greeted them with a very friendly tone.

Thank God they smiled!

They asked me to introduce myself and while I was doing that, one of the interviewers was reading my essay.

Suddenly, while I was talking she interrupted me and said “Soprano Leader. Can you sing for us?”

Dang it!

And so I sang. I can’t quite remember the melody for our choir songs so I decided to sing our warm up song. (Sharp glances + nervous in me = me forgetting some melody)

And after they asked me a few questions which I believed I could answer much better they asked me whether I have any questions for them.

And that’s when I breakdown.

I was asking them to just pass my interview and right after that tears just burst out right in front of them.

Me, myself was shocked about it because I never expect myself to do such thing but then I realized that I really wanted to do Mass Communication and maybe I just got a tad bit too emotional.

They asked me why I was crying and I told them that I had really wanted to do Mass Comm. so I can be a journalist.

And then the most important question came up. “Why would I want to be their student?”

And at the most crucial time for me, I think I answered the best answer I could think of while being nervous and all.

Though after playing it over and over again in my head, I could always answered much better than what I answered back then.

I wanted to ask them so much more but I think I was too embarrass after all that drama.

I told my family about what happened and they said that all I can do now is just pray and pray and that is what I’m doing for now.

Hopefully I will get it.

Pray for me too. Thanks.

Ps: I can’t stop thinking about the interview!!

Interview!

Hoorah!!

Wait.

Why am I screaming like a girl that just got her dream thing?

Ahem, ahem..

Well, that’s because I GOT CALLED TO GO TO AN INTERVIEW FOR MASS COMMUNICATION COURSE!!

Woohoo!!!

I was super shocked when I got the letter because I didn’t think that I would get it since maybe gazillion of people are trying to apply for it and I’d be gone to some private institutions.

But NO.

I guess God helped me.

Now, please pray for me. The interview’s this Sunday so, wish me luck!

Hopefully I’ll get it.

Amin.

Ps: I have to wear baju kurung for the interview. : S

The Unexpected Trip

I know I haven’t blogged for awhile. Sorry. I kept on forgetting to.

Anyways, what would you do if your uncle buys you coupons worth RM100 for a carnival day at a Tamil school?

Hehe.

If anybody asked me I’d say I’ll go for it. Lol!

Yup!

My sister, aunt, cousin and I went to the Tamil school for their carnival day. We expect that we’ll be bored of it and we’ll go home as fast as we could but things turned out different.

We went to the Tamil school around 2pm and we thought that it’ll be almost over because from what we know, the carnival ends at 4pm.

But guess what?

The music is blaring out and kids are screaming like crazy.

Yup! It’s still going on. Usually, in my school, foods are the largest attraction but in this school, the games are.

There’re so many games that we even can’t finish playing them.

And there was a main stage where the DJ plays out the music and to our surprise every time the music starts to play the kid sitting on the stage will excitedly jump off and dance their hearts out!

(The stage where the kids dance)

It was so hilarious!

Oh yea, to finish our coupons we played the games.

The trick is you have to play the games and every time you win, you’ll get points.

Collect as many points as you can and redeem it with the prizes they offer. Lol!

Oh yea, I met Melody too. Apparently her mom used to be a teacher at that school.

Ps: I want to watch 27 Dresses!!
